Digitalizing the daily flow of dental clinics. End-to-end UI design with UX thinking.

Scope
This project involved designing a digital platform for dental clinics to manage appointments, staff schedules, and essential tasks – including stock levels and patient records.
The goal was to move from a printed calendar system to a digital workspace that improves planning efficiency, clarity, and everyday comfort for the medical staff.
The goal was to move from a printed calendar system to a digital workspace that improves planning efficiency, clarity, and everyday comfort for the medical staff.

As the sole designer on the project, I was responsible for creating the interface from scratch – including the platform structure, user flows, and interface logic. I also collaborated directly with the development team and based the UI system on Material Design, as requested for smooth implementation.

UX considerations
While the core of the project focused on UI, I introduced key UX decisions to improve the logic and daily usability of the system. The design responded to how clinic teams actually work – with minimal steps and clear, consistent flows.

UX decisions:
>> Carefully researched and mapped user flows supporting varied clinic rhythms.
>> One consistent logic to manage all types of visits and tasks.
>> Flexible layout and self/team management.
UI That Supports Flow
A clear, consistent interface supports clinic teams in managing schedules and tasks with less effort and more confidence. The design prioritizes clarity, flow, and speed across daily interactions.

UI Highlights
>> Modular, color-coded planner showing availability and schedule.
>> Unified structure for tasks and visit types through one consistent system.
>> Streamlined sidebar navigation with quick access to essential modules.
