Design as part of something bigger.
Studio komponent is a one-person design practice run by Patrycja Malek, a digital product and service designer. I design with process, attention and systems in mind – as part of a team, not an add-on. The studio was born from a need to build with intent – grounded in real team dynamics and ready to be implemented.

This isn’t a place for quick fixes. It’s a space for bringing clarity, setting direction, and creating pieces that fit into something greater.

What
>> UX and UI design with a process-first approach;
>> helping teams organize complexity and move forward;
>> building or adapting to design systems;
>> thinking like a developer – designing for real-world implementation;
>> being a partner, not just a screen producer.

How
>> I always start by understanding the context – team needs, user reality, and tech constraints.
>> I build step by step, so that each component has a reason to exist and a clear role.
>> I care about clarity and communication – because strong projects come from shared understanding.

Why
>> Because good design isn’t a one-time act – it’s about making things make sense together. For me, the studio komponent is a piece of process, of collaboration, of decision-making. It's a place where design is treated as part of the system, not decoration on top.
